Wintertime means walking time in Regen.

When the air is frosty, when ice crystals turn the trees into bizarre shapes and when the houses look as though they have been covered with a dusting of icing sugar, that is when it is really worth putting your walking boots on. There are many paths in and around Regen where walkers can get to know the unspoilt landscape and wonderful sights even in winter.


Hikers, who get off the beaten track in their snow shoes in order to experience untouched nature, will be just as successful in finding what they want as those who want to take marked and cleared paths to get to know the region.
